According to the chart below today is the day that the fetuses would be able to be felt in the uterine horns.... whatever those are....
- Fetuses can be felt in the uterine horns around day 28, and can also be seen by ultrasound.
- The spinal cords are developing, and the fetuses are beginning to grow facial features.
- Your bitch's uterus will shortly fill with fluids to protect the fetuses. After this, it will be weeks until the puppies can be felt again.
- Your dog's appetite will likely increase, so offer her more of her food.
Ms. Deb sent over a photo this morning of one of my sisters-in-arms who is five weeks along.
I do not look like her.

Rut Row! Mom said that it might be that she's already had a litter and isn't so tight, but I just don't see that.

Well. Redgirls themselves have not done babies (booo) so over to mum. Who says. That in 20 years - one litter - so no expert. But. Dear old nana cleo had a personality transplant at about 8 days gestation. Went from the fizziest maddest battiest vizsla *EVER* to couch potato overnight. Otherwise apart from a bit of a loss of waistline and "tuck up" she kept us guessing for WEEKS. And then there were 8 babies. So Mz Brizstow we guess you are just keeping to a yummy mummy keep my figure programme (like all the BEST celebs)
